BRAVE tourists can take part in new Paranormal Investigation tours at one of the most haunted places in Australia, the former quarantine station in Manly, NSW.

Participants will work alongside paranormal investigators from Eastern States Paranormal on the four-hour experience using the latest equipment.

Migrants suspected of carrying contagious diseases including the plague, cholera and Spanish influenza were quarantined at the heritage site to protect the local Sydney community from infection from 1833 until 1984.

It now offers accommodation, restaurants and high tea as well as ghost and history tours.

The experiences, for people over the age of 18 only, cost $125 and take place on the second Friday of each month from 8.30pm to 12.30am.

The next experience is on November 8.
