OAKS on William has opened in Melbourne offering a range of apartment-style accommodation in the heart of the city.

OAKS on William in Melbourne opened this week - a month earlier than planned.

The 4.5 star property has a range of studio, studio park and studio park deluxe apartments with full kitchens, airconditioning, wi-fi access and balconies.

Many have views over Flagstaff Gardens across the road and the city skyline.

It also has a mezzanine café and lounge bar, a gymnasium and onsite car-parking.

The hotel lobby has a series of bespoke artworks by Australian artists and designers.

The William St property shares facilities with the Art on the Park residential development

and is close to some of the city's most popular attractions including Crown Casino and Melbourne Aquarium.

The company's portfolio also includes Oaks on Lonsdale, Oaks on Collins and Oaks on Market.

Prices start from $139 per night for a studio apartment, including late checkout of 12pm. Minimum two night stay applies.
