TRAVELLERS can look forward to cheap flights between Sydney and Perth when Tigerair begins flying on the route before Christmas.
The low-cost carrier will fly up to six return services between the cities each week from December, with fares from $139.95 each way.
Tigerair Australia’s commercial director Carly Brear said Perth was a popular destination for customers.
“We’re regularly asked by the travelling public in Western Australia to provide more services,” she said.
“Flights start in time for the peak Christmas and New Year period so anyone looking for a great value getaway or who hasn’t planned for the January school holidays yet should be delighted about the launch of our latest route.”
Tigerair Australia has launched five new routes this year including Sydney to Coffs Harbour, Sydney to Cairns, Sydney to Alice Springs, Melbourne to Alice Springs and Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast.
