With 250 deckchairs as well as around 100 straight-backed seats, the ambiance at Darwin's Deckchair Cinema is certainly laid back and relaxed.
Starts: The prime season for Darwin's famous Deckchair cinema is during their dry season, from April to November. But in the summertime, from December to March, you can still catch the Deckchair Cinema crew at special Sunday matinee screenings
Where: In the dry season, the Deckchair Cinema is located just below Parliament House in the Wharf Precinct. In the wet, it's at Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinema, Mitchell St, Darwin
Screening: All the latest blockbusters, a smattering of international films and special screenings from the Darwin Film Society. Check out the film schedule here.
