Natalie has worked as a journalist for more than five years after graduating from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Journalism/International Studies. She got her start at Wollongong’s Wave FM before moving to digital and scoring an internship at news.com.au. During her time at the website, Natalie has focused on stories centered on marginalised groups and women and has a passion for court reporting and long-form campaigns and investigations. That passion led to Natalie winning News Corp’s Young Journalist of the Year award in 2019. She has reported on major Australian events, including the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, the Dreamworld inquest and the Sue-Neill Fraser murder appeal in Hobart. Globally, while on secondment to London, she reported on the Julian Assange trial, the final appearance of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and the coronavirus crisis in Europe.
