Matthew joined news.com.au in 2021 as a sports reporter after completing a Journalism and International Studies degree at UTS. He is a self-professed sports nerd and has a particular interest in Formula One, AFL, NBA, tennis and swimming. When he’s not watching sport, you’ll find Matthew shanking balls on the golf course and spending too much time tinkering with his AFL Fantasy team.
