He then wrote for a newspaper in the north-west of England. Ben has written for a number of NewsCorp Australia’s Sydney newspapers and joined news.com.au as a reporter in 2017. He began working as an afternoon news editor in 2022 and moved into a news editor role in 2023.

A drunken group of beach goers have wasted valuable resources after taking a dip in Bondi Beach at 4am. Five of the group entered the water and only four returned to the beach, sparking a search with a rescue helicopter and emergency services. The male was located almost an hour later walking towards the beach naked on Military Road, Bondi Beach. He was checked by Paramedics and the group were spoken to by Police.
