The bra that tweets when undone

THEY discovered democracy, medicine and philosophy and now the Greeks have invented a tweeting bra. That's right, a tweeting bra!

THEY discovered democracy, medicine and philosophy and now the Greeks have invented a tweeting bra.

That's right, a tweeting bra! It's a bra that tweets every time it is unfastened.

But don't rush to put in an order, as the bra is not for sale. Well at least not yet.

The tweeting bra is one of several campaigns related to breasts that have popped up on social media this week.

It aims to encourage women to undergo screening and self-examination in the fight against breast cancer.

Greek actress Maria Bakodimou is fronting the campaign. Every time she unclasps her bra it tweets. But mostly in Greek.

Earlier this week social media campaign #mamming emerged on Instagram and Twitter as a way to encourage women to get over the awkwardness that comes with having a mammogram.

The #mamming campaign involves getting women to take pictures of their breasts resting on inanimate objects and whacking the pictures on #mamming.

But not all breast cancer awareness campaigns are welcomed. In the US, $7243 raised for breast cancer research was rejected after it emerged a group of men raised the money by "motorboating'' on women's breast. That is they shoved their face into women's breasts!
