Ellen DeGeneres among celebrities tweeting thoughts to those affected by NSW bushfires
ELLEN DeGeneres has joined a chorus of celebrities tweeting prayers to victims of the NSW bushfires and thanks to the firefighters involved in the brave fight.
CELEBRITIES from around the world have taken to Twitter to shout out to those affected by the bushfires in NSW.
US TV host Ellen DeGeneres, who was in Sydney filming in March, said the images of the fires were "heartbreaking''. MARY'S 'HEARTBREAK' FOR FIRE VICTIMS
"Australia's 1 of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. Images of the fires are heartbreaking. Sending all my love to the people of Oz,'' Ellen tweeted today.
The Minogue sisters showed they are true blue sending a big thanks to our brave firefighters.
"Sending love and thanks to all the firefighters and volunteers working hard in NSW,'' Kylie tweeted.

Similarly on Tuesday Dannii posted: "Hoping today luck is on our side for residents and fire fighters.''
On Monday 'spin king' Shane Warne took time out from tweeting to his sweetheart Elizabeth Hurley to send his thoughts and prayers to affected residents.
"Feeling & thinking of everyone who are being effected by these horrific fires! Prayers & everything crossed for the amazing firefighters!''
Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke thanked firefighters for their efforts.
"Thoughts going out to all affected by fires around NSW. Thanks to those fighting them!''
Last week Clarke tweeted he feared the fires would impact on one of his properties.

Former Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath also posted a message of support.
"As smoke hangs over Sydney our thoughts are still with the people affected by fires & the men & women fighting them.''
Crime writer Tara Moss spared a thought for those that have lost property.
''A big thank you to the firefighters who worked hard to keep the fires back. So grateful. My thoughts go out to those who were not so lucky.''
