Spanish farmers stumble across mysterious black object believed to be from outer space

EVACUATIONS were ordered and specialists called in when a pair of Spanish farmers stumbled across this bizarre looking piece of ‘space junk’.

The Local reports the oval shaped object was found by Francisco and Juan Espín del Amo, who said “it must have fallen from the sky.”

They initially suspected it had dropped from an aircraft.

Local authorities were notified and the Civil Guard immediately deployed experts to the scene to investigate the bizarre object.

The experts — who looked a bit like Minions — conducted tests which revealed that the item had in fact come from space, possibly an auxiliary fuel tank from a rocket.

Look-a-like ... Minions are animated cartoon characters.

“A few years ago similar objects were discovered in Brazil,” a Civil Guard explosives expert said.

“The sphere has all the signs of being a composite overwrapped pressure vessel, possibly from a space station,” he said.

“These objects are made of a material that is so resistant it survives intact even after re-entering the earth’s atmosphere,” he added.
