A NASA astronaut has given Earth dwelling plebs a glimpse into the final frontier.

Commander Terry Virts took to Twitter at the weekend to showcase the International Space Station’s amazing view.

The space cadet posted two videos taken aboard the ISS as it moved around Earth at 17,000mph.

Commander Virts has been upon the ISS since November and was set to return to Earth on May 13, however his return was delayed after an unmanned Russian resupply spacecraft crashed into the Pacific Ocean earlier this month.

The astronaut said he wasn’t concerned about his extended visit because it gave him an opportunity to capture the amazing footage.

“I am very glad to stay,” he wrote on Twitter.
