Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson releases diss track in response to insult song from BoB
THIS rapper’s dubious evidence that proves the world is flat has attracted outrage from astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.
NOTHING builds street cred for rappers quite like being involved in a very public feud with another hip hop artist.
This is a concept rapper BoB must have misunderstood when he launched an all-out verbal attack aimed at astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson just days after he schooled the rapper on Twitter for his beliefs the world was flat.
“Aye, Neil Tyson needs to loosen up his vest/They’ll probably write that man one hell of a check” and “Use your common sense/Why is NASA department of defense?/They divided up the seas into thirty-three degrees/Feeding kids masonry, bruh, be careful what you read,” BoB raps in the chorus.

Following the insulting song, Tyson hit back with a parody of Drake’s Back to Back diss track aimed at fellow rapper Meek Mill.
“I bring facts to combat a silly theory, cause BoB has go to know the planet is a sphere G/It’s very important that I clear this up. You say Neil’s vest is what he needs to loosen up/he’s amazing because the brother is getting paid, when the ignorance you’re spitting helps to keep people enslaved,” Tyson hit back with.
@bobatl As an astrophysicist I donât rap, but i know people who do. This one has by back: https://t.co/BbMi4tzHLz

The feud started when BoB, real name Bobby Ray Simmons, started posting tweets which he believes discredit the theory that the Earth is round.

Like majority of the human population, Tyson was so insulted by such ludicrous claims he sent the rapper scientific evidence to put his misguided theory to bed.
@bobatl Earth's curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that.

@bobatl Polaris is gone by 1.5 deg S. Latitude. Youâve never been south of Earthâs Equator, or if so, you've never looked up.

@bobatl Flat Earth is a problem only when people in charge think that way. No law stops you from regressively basking in it.

@bobatl Duude â to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesnât mean we all canât still like your music

Let’s just hope the beef stops here and doesn’t end like Biggie vs 2Pac.
