Queensland police share video of cow at Doomadgee station

Police in a remote Queensland community near the NT border recently had an unexpected visitor pop by the local station.

Police in north west Queensland had an unexpected visitor turn up at their station after a cow walked in to take a look around.

CCTV footage showed the cow sniffing around the outside of the Doomadgee Police Station near the border with the Northern Territory.

The cow entered through an automatic door, paying little attention to the ‘X’ markings on the ground that have been introduced in many places as a guide for social distancing.

It's understood the cow will not be charged.

The cow didn’t stay long before turning and walking away as a uniformed officer and another person in high-vis entered the room.

It's expected no charges will be laid over the incident, although police joked the bovine could have had to face a case for “disudderly conduct”.
