A mum-of-three has told how her neighbour kicked her puppy in front of her disabled twins - leaving them traumatised.
Jessica Evans, 36, said neighbour Jade Hughes “took two steps forward” before booting the dog “like she was taking a penalty shot” in Braintree, Essex.

Her disabled twins Albert and Frederick were sat in the car “screaming” as the family’s six-month old French Bulldog Rodney was kicked.

But mum-of-three Jade said the dog, which she claims has bitten people before, charged at her kids.

She insists she “loves animals but loves her kids more” and claims the dog wasn’t injured.

Dog owner Jessica told the Sun: “I was absolutely sickened, mortified and distressed. Not only about what happened to the dog but the fact that it was in front of children.

“My kids were in the car screaming ‘why has that lady done that to our dog’.”

“It looked like she was about to take a penalty shot,” Jessica added.

“She shouts ‘f*** off’ and kicks my dog so hard it’s bum lifted off the floor.

“My kids tried to recall him but he ran around panicking.”

Jessica said the stress of the incident has taken a toll on Frederick – who suffers from Dravet Syndrome, an epilepsy condition.

Jessica added: “Frederick screams at the sight of this woman.”

But Jade claims the dog wasn’t injured – and said it has “gone around biting before”.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Jade explained: “It ran towards the kids and she didn’t even call it back.

“The dog didn’t yelp or anything like that. My daughter screamed as it was snarling.

“My leg doesn’t even go back to hurt it. I love animals, I love dogs but I love my kids more but I am not letting a dog come at my child.

“These dogs bite. They’ve bitten my daughter before. One of them has bitten me so I was fearing the worst.

“It never got hurt and my intentions were never to hurt the dog.

“She saw us walking round the side, she opened the car door and made no attempt to secure the dog.”

Jade has been in her housing association property for the past seven years but she’s put in a request to be moved due to all the trouble in the tiny cul-de-sac.

Police earlier issued a CPN banning Jade from contacting Jessica and from causing “alarm or distress”.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday 8 February we received an allegation of threats to harm a dog in the Great Bardfield, Braintree area.

“Our inquiries continue.”

An RSPCA spokesperson said: “We were made aware of this video and it was immediately passed to an officer to look into.

“It is never acceptable to kick an animal in this way and we have made this very clear to the person involved.”
