New Yorkers get creative after subway bans dogs travelling unless they fit in a bag
THE new rule said dogs couldn’t ride the subway unless they fitted into a bag — so passengers got very, very creative. These photos will make your day.
NEW YORK City subway recently banned dogs from travelling, unless they fitted into a bag.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority states that — “No person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container and carried in a manner which would not annoy other passengers.”
The new rule could have posed a problem for owners with large dogs, but defiant New York City subway-goers decided to get creative.
“The New York City Subway banned dogs unless they fit in a bag and the people of New York did not disappoint,” one person posted on Twitter.
And they’re right.
