A man has suffered serious injuries following a crocodile attack in a remote section of the Northern Territory.
A man has suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a crocodile in a remote section of the Northern Territory.
Police said the man was collecting crocodile eggs from a station near Daly River, approximately 200 km south of Darwin, on Thursday morning.
Officers said the man is undergoing surgery for his injuries, which are understood to be mainly located on his right leg, at the Royal Darwin Hospital after being flown their following the attack.
NT WorkSafe have been advised of the incident and are carrying out investigations.
