Horrifying animal cruelty caught on camera in north

CCTV footage captured the horror moment at a suburban pound, sparking outrage from neighbours.

A terrifying attack on defenceless ducks by two teenagers at a suburban lake in north Adelaide has left residents distressed.

In footage obtained by the Advertiser, a youth is seen pulling a pole from the ground before swinging it at the ducks while another filmed.

The attack unfolded shortly after midnight on Friday at Blakes Lake Reserve at Blakeview in the city’s north.

Local Sheree said she heard a commotion coming from across the road, before later watching the attack on her security camera.

“They were pretty much pulverising these ducks and trying to spear them with these poles,” she said.

“I think one of the kids even tried to run over them with their scooter.”
