Authorities in Philadelphia have arrested two teenage boys who encouraged their dogs to brutally savage a family’s cat - shouting “get him” and “good boy” as the heinous attack unfolded.

The Pennsylvania Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) announced on Saturday that after following up on numerous leads, its officers identified a 17-year-old and a 12-year-old wanted in connection to the sickening incident.

The two suspects surrendered to authorities, the SPCA said in an update on social media, and both were taken into police custody and were pending a custodial determination hearing.

The charges currently filed against the two teenagers include felony animal fighting, felony aggravated animal cruelty, and a conspiracy charge.

The evil attack was captured on a surveillance camera outside a family’s home in Frankford on Tuesday, the SPCA said.

The two men could be seen walking by the home with the dogs, which were on leashes, when they suddenly spotted Buddy sitting on the porch.

The dogs involved in the incident have also been taken into the custody of the Pennsylvania SPCA and have been placed on hold over the investigation.

They intentionally let go of the dogs and started cheering as the animals mauled the screeching cat, authorities said.

At one point, one of the men repeatedly shouted “get him” and “good boy” before grabbing hold of the leashes.

The dogs appeared to still have hold of Buddy as the cat’s owner rushed out of the home to intervene, the grim footage showed.

Buddy sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a nearby animal hospital, where he is still undergoing treatment.
