Woman tries to find a girl she saw being bullied but did nothing about
She saw a girl being bullied, didn’t intervene and regretted it immediately. This woman has now launched a social media campaign to track her down.
KATE-Lynn Edwards was on her way to a fair when she saw a young girl being bullied.
She witnessed a group of girls being mean to her about her body and didn’t intervene or do anything other than smile at the girl being bullied.
The incident played on her mind and she couldn’t let go of having stood by and done nothing so she did the one thing she could, she tried to get a message to the girl in a Facebook post.
She wrote of her regret and her own body issues and about the need for this “truly beautiful” girl to know her worth.
Ms Edwards is still searching for the girl who was body shamed and whose bright smile “disappeared because of those girls”. They were at the Porter County Fair in Indiana on July 25.
Here is her emotional post that has been shared thousands of times, with the hopes of finding that girl and returning her smile.
