Wanted man Aaron Bee taunts police with social media posts
POLICE posted a picture of wanted man Aaron Bee online in connection with an assault. Now he’s making a mockery of police with a series of social media posts.
A MAN wanted by police in connection with an assault has been taunting police on Facebook after his picture was posted online.
Lincolnshire Police posted a photo of Aaron Bee, as part of its social media campaign to find him.
But Bee responded to the post with a simple“Ha ha”.
It didn’t stop there as the Lincoln man then went on to taunt police from his own Facebook page, even taking selfies of himself outside his local police station.
On October 31, he posted: “How come my photo is all over Facebook? Anybody would think iam (sic) wanted or something lmao”.
That wasn’t enough, as the 22-year-old posted this a day later: “At the end of the day people I’ve not been charged or found guilty of any assault or whatever, so for the media to say iam some sort of violent person when I’ve not even been questioned yet is an absolute JOKE , (don’t judge a book by its cover )!!”
Subsequent posts not only seem to relish the attention but taunted police even further by posting:
“Anybody have an idea on a new hiding place? These rabbit hutch Are getting boring !!!!”
Just yesterday, he posted not one but two pictures.
His latest post ridicules police for looking silly before changing his profile “picture to him wearing “a mask of freedom”.
According to Lincolnshire Police, Bee is wanted in connection with an assault on 14th October 2014 and in connection with domestic violence in the Lincoln area on 10th October 2014.
Bee wouldn’t be the first person to taunt police on Facebook, or with a series of selfies.
Christchurch Police posted Samuel Evan Lake’s mugshot last month appealing for information about his known whereabouts, alongside a caption “Wanted to Arrest”.
Lake then posted underneath the appeal, writing “I need to get a new mugshot”.
Police responded to the post, which they have now deleted, with: “Come and see us and we will arrange at no cost”.
Lake taunted police with by posting: “If only they were as good at finding me as they were comebacks”.
But police ended up having the last laugh after the post received hundreds of likes and Lake was found and arrested.
