US Election 2020: Social media reacts to Donald Trump, Joe Biden polls
Americans can’t tear their eyes away from the results but an Aussie icon is providing sweet relief
The US election is dragging on and it could be a while before we know whether Donald Trump will stay President or if Americans voted for Joe Biden to replace him.
Those in the US are watching with bated breath, and as much as some of them ostensibly want to, they can’t look away.
Watching election coverage feels like sportscenter for finding out if we all die.

Some Americans have been talking about relocating to other countries if their preferred candidate doesn’t make it into the White House, while people in those countries tell them to lie in the bed they’ve made.

Funny how whenever people talk about moving to Canada never move to places with dangerous drinking water, insane food prices, or where indigenous people literally get attacked just for living sustainably.

Given America is the country most ravaged by coronavirus and international travel has been greatly reduced in the last few months (and because all the people who say they’ll move are almost definitely 100 per cent capping), some have advised bringing other countries to you.
This handy map provides a suggestion for people wanting to pretend they’re in a different country, and the states that allow it.
