Americans can’t tear their eyes away from the results but an Aussie icon is providing sweet relief

The US election is dragging on and it could be a while before we know whether Donald Trump will stay President or if Americans voted for Joe Biden to replace him.

Those in the US are watching with bated breath, and as much as some of them ostensibly want to, they can’t look away.

Some of them are looking for ways to take the edge off, and relocating to Oregon is looking mighty fine to a lot of people after the state voted to decriminalise drugs including heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine.

But other countries with a spectator’s interest appear to be having more fun with their poll watching.

Some Americans have been talking about relocating to other countries if their preferred candidate doesn’t make it into the White House, while people in those countries tell them to lie in the bed they’ve made.

Given America is the country most ravaged by coronavirus and international travel has been greatly reduced in the last few months (and because all the people who say they’ll move are almost definitely 100 per cent capping), some have advised bringing other countries to you.
