UFC is giving fans to the chance to face-off with fighters as part of UFC 193 social media campaign

BEFORE the fighters on the UFC 193 face-off against one another in the pre-fight weigh ins, fans are being given the opportunity to see how they measure up.

AS part of the promotion for the upcoming UFC fight in Melbourne, the company has taken over Federation Square and is letting fans live out their own fighting fantasy.

Before the fighters on the UFC 193 face-off against one another in the pre-fight weigh ins, fans are being given the opportunity to see how they measure up.

OK, while you won’t actually be able to get in the face of Ronda Rousey, Mark Hunt and Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, you can at least bluff to your friends that you did.

By using a green screen, fight fans are able to have an image of themselves doctored so it looks as if they were standing face-to-face with the real-life athletes.

The image is then sent to their social media account so they can claim to have made Ronda Rousey shake in her boots while they faced off.

The social media photos are not the only way the UFC is using the internet to offer fans a unique opportunity to feel part of the action.

The first 200 people to register online to attend the free UFC 193 press conference will not only get to see Dana White, Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm in the flesh, but they have the opportunity to step inside the Octagon.

UFC 193 will be held at Etihad Stadium on Sunday November 15.
