The colour of this dress is totally dividing the world. What colour do YOU see?
UPDATE: This picture is still driving the world mad and almost broke the internet as well as some relationships. But it seems now we finally know the answer. Phew.
A TUMBLR post has the whole internet in a fierce battle. And all over the colour of a dress.
Some are calling it witchcraft, while in our office, our Finance reporter is telling us all he is right and to just go back to work.
So what do you think, what colours are this dress?
Today news.com.au can confirm the colour of the dress.
The Roman Originals dress is sold online in the UK and comes in this colour ...
Oh and just to make it even more confusing it also comes in these colours ...
And if your eyes hurt now, here’s some more ...
Caitlin McNeill, a Scottish singer, originally posted the picture online after her friend saw different colours in the photo, The Daily Record reports.
A woman named Cecilia Bleasdale had picked up the garment from Roman Originals for a wedding and sent a picture of the dress to her daughter Grace.
Later, Grace, who was the one getting married, posted the picture on Facebook where debate exploded.
But that debate had pretty much been forgotten until Caitlin then posted the picture on Tumblr. Caitlin’s band had performed at Grace’s wedding.
The argument over the dress then went global.
And the dress created such a frenzy that the makers are now actually considering a white and gold version, reports metro.co.uk
Dr Karl has also helped solve the riddle of how the colour could be interpreted so many different ways.
Our perception of color depends on the amount of light in a room or scene -- or on a dress. http://t.co/HS7aYmDspP pic.twitter.com/161x3PcnWx

For anyone still confused, this little YouTube explainer might help.
But that didn’t help yesterday, when half of the news.com.au office saw it as blue and gold, while others saw it as white and gold. A few others noticed it as black and blue.
News.com.au lifestyle editor Kate Midena believes she is unequivocally right and that it is ice blue and gold.
“It’s pretty clear to me that the dress is ice blue and gold. First glance I thought that, second glance I thought that, after hearing everyone argue about it, I still think that,” she said, with a distinctly defiant tone.
Even Taylor Swift and Anna Kendrick have picked their sides.
If that's not White and Gold the universe is falling apart. Seriously what is happening????

Has this sparked some drama in the West-Kardashian household? The couple seem to have strong stances on either side.
What color is that dress? I see white & gold. Kanye sees black & blue, who is color blind?

While certain police departments across the world are just sick of hearing about it.

Here’s one suggestion we have seen on the internet, however it seems especially dodgy.
