Sacked X Factor judge Natalia Kills accused of stealing her look from Johnny Depp, Lady Gaga and Lord Farquaad
DUMPED X Factor judge Natalia Kills abused a contestant for ‘ripping off someone else’s style’. Now she’s accused of doing the same.
DUMPED X Factor New Zealand judge Natalia Kills annihilated a contestant for ripping off someone else’s style — but Twitter users say she’s done the same.
The British singer and her husband, Willy Moon, were sacked from the judging panel after accusing Joe Irvine of being Moon’s “doppelganger” and dressing like fictional serial killer Norman Bates.
As stars such as Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran got behind Irvine, Twitter users carved up 28-year-old Kills’ not-so-original wardrobe choices, comparing her to Lady Gaga, Johnny Depp and even Shrek’s Lord Farquaad.

Kills and Moon sparked global outrage after verbally abusing Irvine on Sunday’s show.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I’m just going to state the obvious, we have a doppelganger in our midst,” Kills sneered, eyeballing Irvine.
“As an artist who respects creative integrity and intellectual property, I am disgusted at how much you’ve copied my husband. I personally found it artistically atrocious. I’m embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence having to dignify you with my opinion.”
Moon then chimed in: “You look like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing. It’s just a little bit creepy and I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everybody in the audience.”
To his credit, Irvine remained dignified as the crowd jeered at the judges’ ridiculous comments.
The couple was sacked from the show the next day.
“Last night on X Factor both Kills and Moon made comments that were completely unacceptable. While the judges on X Factor are expected to provide critiques of the performances, we will not tolerate such destructive tirades from any of the judges,” MediaWorks chief executive Mark Weldon said.
The disgraced couple fled New Zealand on Tuesday.
