Rebel Wilson urges US to follow Australia’s lead on gun control
REBEL Wilson is the latest celebrity to speak out against the Louisiana shooting, slamming the US on its gun laws.
AUSSIE actress Rebel Wilson is the latest celebrity to publicly condemn America’s gun laws.
The Pitch Perfect 2 star has taken to Twitter to voice her thoughts, saying the US should follow Australia’s lead on the issue:
I don't like getting political but America you really have to follow Australia's example re gun laws.

I don't remember a mass shooting in Australia since they overhauled the gun laws. It seems like every week in America there's a shooting.

Her string of tweets comes in the wake of the Louisiana cinema shooting, which saw 59-year-old John ‘Rusty’ Houser open fire with a semiautomatic gun in Lafayette’s Grand Cinema, fatally killing 33-year-old Jillian Johnson and 21-year-old Mayci Breaux.
In addition to the two people killed, nine others were injured.
Various other celebrities, from Amy Schumer to Sam Smith, have also used Twitter to condemn the attack.
