People are going crazy over a Spanish mayor’s toes after a shoe fashion fail

A SPANISH mayoress has found herself making headlines over her little toes instead of her political fights. What’s wrong with them?

A SPANISH mayoress has found herself making headlines over her little toes instead of her political fights.

UK’s Metro reports that Mamen Sánchez, the newly elected mayor of Jerez de La Frontera, will probably be best known as the woman with the toes.

We’re not too sure if her shoes were too small or if she thought it was fasionable?

Dubbed ‘Toemageddon’ online, Mamen’s fashion fail has received a surprising amount of support.

The hashtag #diaInternacionalDelDedoFuera which translates to #InternationalStickyOutToeDay was created and people have been joining the bandwagon.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed as much with the comments, memes and article about my shoes and little toes,” she Tweeted.

It recalls Julianne Moore’s Cannes red carpet appearance in May 2013.
