Opera singer’s performance ruffles a few feathers in Antarctica
AN OPERA singer sang his heart out for a penguin colony but it seems the cute creatures weren’t as cultured as he’d hoped.
IT’S a tough crowd in the Antarctic. Well, for opera singer Nick Allen anyway.
This penguin colony showed the well-known classical star how they really felt about his spontaneous O Sole Mio performance.
Despite him hitting those high notes, the penguins proved to be harsh critics as the cuddly creatures couldn’t run away fast enough.
A woman recording the footage in the background can be heard saying, “Oh no, wait!”, as the performer turns and realises what’s going on behind him.
