Ontario police investigated for posting spoof movie trailer on YouTube showing their dislike of court duty

BAD boys: What y'a gunna do when court duty comes for you? In the case of these Canadian cops, run - and make a movie trailer of it.
Now the three Durham Regional Police officers in Ontario are themselves bad boys.
They're under internal investigation after posting a video to YouTube showing the fanciful lengths uniformed officers go through to get out of court duty.
"Central Cells" shows the three police employees - two are officers and one is a special constable - using official police equipment as props for their 64-second clip, filmed inside the police station itself.
The lyrics boom their message across from amid dramatic music:
"3 officers on a quest for freedom
"Will discover there is no escape
"From cellblock ...
"Forced to serve prisoners
"How far will they go …
"for freedom?"
The explosive footage includes clips of controversial Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and President Barack Obama.
The more mundane elements of their message show officers holding a roll of toilet paper for a prisoner and cleaning up a bloodstained bathroom.
"I have no idea what the motivation for producing this video would be, but I believe it is disrespectful to the hardworking men and women of this branch and embarrassing for everyone here," Police Chief Mike Ewles said in a news release.
He has instructed the professional standards unit to conduct an internal investigation "immediately."
Perhaps salvation for these cops is hidden within the credits - if investigators watch them.
"Not made on company time," it notes.
