Lviv, the Ukrainian city that has a Vladimir Putin anti-cult
ONE Ukrainian city hates Russian president Vladimir Putin so much that the residents wipe their bums with his face on their toilet paper and practice shooting at targets of him.
LVIV is a city of over 700,000 people in Western Ukraine. It’s regarded by popular Ukrainian magazine Focus as the country’s best city to live in. It’s also home to an anti-cult, full of strong hatred towards Russian president Vladimir Putin.
The hatred towards the Russian president follows his support for pro-Russian separatists fighting in a civil war that has claimed the lives of over 4,300 soldiers and civilians.
Around the city, there are posters that show Putin with a single bloody bullethole in his head and swastikas printed on his shirt. Shooting ranges are even available where you can fire a few rounds from the Russian designed AK-47 into a Vladimir Putin-like target.
Lviv has always been a pro-Western European city that strongly believes in a democratic Europe. Aside from his support of the civil war, Putin represents everything they don’t believe in.
The constant comparison to Adolf Hitler comes from the city’s people comparing Putin’s annexing of Crimea to Hitler’s annexation of Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia.
While some people don’t want to even mention the Russian president, others would urinate on his face and wipe their bum with toilet paper printed with it on there.
