ANOTHER hidden camera experiment is going viral — but this one has more positive intentions.

Fitness trainer and MTV personality CJ Koegel attached a hidden camera to the behind of a woman wearing skin-tight yoga pants.

And she attracts plenty of stares, from women as well as men.

The video was intended to highlight the need to check for prostate cancer.

The video ends with a call for men to “check out their own butts” too, for prostate cancer, adding that one in seven men will get it.

The clip is one of a number of hidden camera experiments to have emerged online recently.

Nestle last month also tried to repackage the trend as a campaign for breast cancer awareness, using a hidden “bra cam”.

The trend began when campaign group Hollaback produced footage showing how many times a woman in New York was catcalled during 10 hours of walking the streets.

It was followed by copycat efforts that included a man walking through New York, a drag queen walking the streets of LA, a skateboarder in Toronto and women in Mumbai, Sydney and Auckland.

The results were largely very predictable.

They have attracted plenty of discussion and controversy, and a recent video showing a “drunk” actress being hit on by men was found to have been a setup, casting doubt on the popular viral clips.

This latest effort is no different, with some social media users saying it was “making guys look bad” and asking if it was “not even OK to look”.

Others pointed out that the results were hardly a shock.

So are these videos finally dying a death, or have we only just got started?
