Hermione ‘Philosopher’s Stone’ scene sparks meme trend
The Hermione Granger meme has sparked Twitter fireworks as people add their takes on Emma Watson’s inscription during a Harry Potter scene.
Give the internet a bone and they’ll make meme magic.
At a desk on the set of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, sits Emma Watson with her quill and parchment paper.
Her task was to look busy, acting as if she was jotting down how to Wingardium Leviosa.
The scene was shot wide so she didn’t need to actually put pen to paper, but in true Hermione Granger style, she wrote herself a ten-year-old’s tale.
Now social media has gone fanatic with the original tweet showing the words Watson jotted down on a piece of smudged parchment being liked almost 525,000 times and sparking a string of memes.

Her inscriptions included:
“My name is Emma Charlotte Watson. I am 10 years old and playing the part as Hermione Granger.
“I am in a Tranfiguration (sic).
“I love this pen (quill).”
She also made sure to make some notes about her witch teacher.
“Professor McGonigal (sic) (the cat) (Miss Peacock) is beautiful. (She) is black and white. I wish I had a cat as a teacher.”
The internet was so pleased with the find that it did what it does best.

Twitter’s creativity hasn’t faltered lately with mashups surfacing including President Donald Trump’s sharpie scribbled note which went viral last week.
