Herman Cain ‘tweets’ about Kamala Harris two weeks after he died from COVID-19
The Twitter account of a political activist who recently died of COVID-19 has suddenly resumed posting on the social media platform.
The Twitter account of a recently deceased US political activist who died of COVID-19 has come back to life to criticise recently announced vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Herman Cain sought the Republican nomination for US President in 2000 and almost pursued it again in 2012.
His second effort looked promising as a Black Republican who would have run against Barack Obama, but he abandoned the attempt towards the end of 2011 when several women came out accusing him of sexual harassment and cheating on his wife.

Mr Cain was also a key figure in the Tea Party movement, which pushed for extreme fiscal conservatism even by Republican standards.
On July 30 he died of COVID-19, after being sick for several weeks and a little over a month after being photographed at a Trump Rally controversially held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, without a mask or much consideration for social distancing.

Honestly the most Iâve ever related to a Republican is Herman Cain still wanting to tweet after heâs dead.

But on Thursday his verified Twitter account began tweeting, sharing articles from his eponymous website and spooking a lot of people.
It soon became apparent what was happening, as his daughter explained in a pinned tweet on the account.
“The mission continues,” the post said, linking to an article on the Herman Cain website from Melanie Cain Gallo.
“I am proud to say that Herman Cain was my dad. He believed in using his voice to teach, enlighten and give hope. It’s one of the ways he used this web site every day, and he wouldn’t have wanted that work to stop with his passing,” she wrote.
“So we will continue. We’ve decided here at Cain HQ that we will go on using this platform to share the information and ideas he believed in. He often talked about the site going on once he was ready to step away from it. We had hoped he could enjoy reading it in his retirement, but he made it clear he wanted it to go on,” Ms Cain Gallo said.
She announced the site and all its social media accounts would be renamed The Cain Gang, a name she said her dad came up with.
The account then added that while the website’s domain name is hermancain.com, the four-strong team of writers and editors are “also individuals” with their own views and ideas (but that are mostly at least somewhat aligned with Mr Cain’s).
This is a timely reminder: The Cain Gang consists of different writers who have their own opinions. We all lean right, but we're also individuals. Each piece reflects the opinions of that writer. That's how Herman wanted it to work. But we agree on this: We love you all!

The same left that ghoulishly celebrated Herman Cain's death now want to act like the people still running his account are doing so in bad taste. FFS be consistent.

On Twitter this attracted much criticism from people who did not agree with Cain’s ideas.
Herman Cain's account is still tweeting even though he's dead. Because it was always a role, the person who played that role was relatively irrelevant. Before it was Alan Keyes, then it was Ben Carson. Now, the ghost of Herman Cain. Easy job: Just tell white folks they're right.

Herman Cain continuing to tweet in favor of Trump after dying from a disease he probably caught at a reckless Trump rally is a pretty decent encapsulation of why itâs a waste of time for Democrats to try and court Republican voters.

If someone is gonna tweet from beyond can it please be Prince or David Bowie and not Herman Cain?

The whole Herman Cain thing just reveals how ghoulish, bizarre, and inhuman the modern Right has become.

The man died unnecessarily going to an underwhelming rally, was completely forgotten by his own party, and then his name and social media cultivated for profit.
The MAGA regime is using Herman Cainâs verified account weeks after killing him to post propaganda for themselves on behalf of someone whoâs now dead because of them. It doesnât get more ghoulish unless they decide to use his remains too.
