IF YOU’RE single and wondering where to find love, look no further than Instagram. A new page called The Way We Met tells the stories of countless loved-up couples and how they met.

Launched by LA-based Brooklyn Sherman, 27, just two weeks ago, the page has already attracted more than 48,000 followers and is growing in popularity every day.

Ms Sherman started by asking people on Facebook if they were in a serious relationship and, if so, to share the story of how they met their partner. Soon the romantic tales were flooding in.

The stories, which are paired with a cute picture of each blissfully happy couple, show that love can be found just about anywhere — from kindergarten to the office to Facebook.

One post tells the story of a couple who have been married for 58 years. They met at work and had their first date at the company’s cafeteria. “I took her out to lunch at the cafeteria, and wouldn’t you know it, I didn’t have any money on me so she had to pay! The rest is history. I’ve been paying ever since, gladly,” the caption says.

While some couples have been together for years, others are in fairly new relationships, but regardless of how long they’ve been an item, they all share one thing in common: they’re head over heels in love.

Ms Sherman, who told Cosmopolitan.com she hasn’t found her own perfect match yet, said she started the account because she’s always been obsessed with finding out how couples met.

“I realised there were too many great stories and I didn’t wanna keep them to myself. So I started the Instagram as a way to put these stories back into the world and give people hope that there is someone for everyone and you will find them!”
