Instagram is currently down with Australian users unable to refresh their feeds.
The outage came as reports the META website has been affected globally, with account holders been delivered messages including, “couldn’t refresh feed” and “couldn’t load posts”.
Thousands of Australians reported the outage to Down Detector just before 2pm on Thursday.
The hashtag #InstagramDown has been trending in some regions around the world.
Instagram has yet to publicly confirm the outage.
Many users have taken to Twitter to complain about the outage, which appears to have affected people in other parts of the world.
