Anti-vaxxer refused entry from six businesses in one day posts footage of bizarre rant

An anti-vaxxer who launched into a bizarre rant against a Sydney cafe has posted further ridiculous footage and made a startling admission.

Anti-vaxxer continues to harass staff at Sydney cafe

An anti-vaxxer who launched into a bizarre rant against a Sydney cafe has posted another cringe-worthy video of himself confronting staff at another cafe, and admitted that he tried to get into six businesses in one day.

Dominic Karnaby made headlines yesterday when he posted a video of himself ranting at staff at Cafe Dzajko in Tempe after he took ire with a sign saying staff required proof of vaccination to enter.

Overnight, he posted a video from another cafe — where he can be seen yelling at staff.

“I don’t think you understand how segregation works,” he shouts as a masked staff member walks calmly towards him.

“First it’s don’t come in unless you’ve checked in, don’t come in unless you’re vaccinated and then you can’t even buy food at Woolworths unless you’re vaccinated. Do you really want to go down that dangerous precedent here in NSW sir?”

The staff member doesn’t reply.

“Your business needs to stop being discriminative. I’m not ok with that,” Mr Karnaby continues.

He then claims to speak on behalf of “immuno-compressed” people “like himself” who has asthma, saying they are not ok with the policy.

It is not clear what “immuno-compressed” means. However, immunocompromised people are some of the most at-risk groups in Australia as Covid spreads.

They are so much at risk that Australians with severely compromised immune systems will be offered a third coronavirus jab to maximise protection against the deadly virus from next week.

Asthmatics are not among those eligible.

Mr Karnaby finishes his rant by saying he’s “just trying to buy a coffee” and that the system is a “circus” as the staff ember calmly leads him to the door.

In the captions to the video he says six businesses refused to serve him on Tuesday.

He recorded similar bizarre rant against a Sydney cafe’s “segregation” policy, only for the business to be showered with support on social media.

Cafe Dzajko in Tempe was targeted after he took ire with a sign saying staff required proof of vaccination to enter.

But his attempts to shame the inner west business appear to have fallen flat, with the cafe flooded with positive reviews and orders for coffee.

In a video posted to Twitter on Monday, the man begins shouting at cafe staff and accusing them of segregating people.

“What makes you think I’m going to hand over my medical private information of whether I’m vaccinated or not vaccinated to buy a cup of coffee?” the man asks.

“Do you see how insanely hypocritical that sounds? That you’re actually going to walk implicitly into segregation?”

The man claims he is a business owner and questions whether it is “apartheid day” and not “freedom day”.

A customer watches on awkwardly as the barista does not respond to the man’s taunts, telling him the business owner is next door.

As the man leaves, he claims he is “very powerful” and urges people not to shop at the cafe.

In a subsequent tweet, the man shared the cafe’s Facebook page with the message: “Make them famous.”

However, social media users were quick to support the cafe with a flood of positive messages.

Some users ridiculed the anti-vaxxer’s video while offering to buy coffees from the business.

Former Inner West Council mayor Darcy Byrne bought lunch from the business and posted his own message to the “anti-vax twerp”.

He wrote: “Great ppl who deserve our respect and support. They actually started the business during the pandemic. Get down there as soon as you can.”

Multiple reviews on Cafe Dzajko’s Facebook site and Google review page praised the food and coffee, with some users offering thanks to the anti-vaxxer for the “recommendation”.

In a message to their Facebook page, Cafe Dzajko’s staff thanked the people who “shouted coffees” and supported their business.

“We are so thankful for your generosity,” the post reads.
