MELANIA Trump’s personal Twitter account ‘liked’ a tweet mocking her marriage to Donald Trump — but she denies knowing anything about it.
“Seems the only #Wall @realDonaldTrump’s built is the one between him and @FLOTUS #Melania #trump,” read the tweet by Andy Ostroy, a self-described marketer and producer from New York.
The tweet was liked by Mrs Trump’s verified personal account, but not her official government first lady account, @FLOTUS. The tweet has now been unliked.
The only other tweet Mrs Trump has liked is her own from 2012 which said: “Hello Twitter!”
Registered in January 2010, the @MELANIATRUMP handle has more than 866,000 followers.
A White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said Mrs Trump didn’t know her account had liked the tweet.
“The first lady wasn’t aware of this until I brought it to her attention,” she told The New York Post.
Ms Grisham said it wasn’t clear if the first lady’s personal account had been hacked or if a person with approved access to the account had liked the tweet.
“Who knows ... it isn’t her primary account these days,” she said, noting that the account’s password has since been changed.

It comes after the White House slammed a “false” Vanity Fair article which claimed the first lady was miserable in her 12-year marriage.
Ms Grisham, the White House spokeswoman, said the first lady has “always been supportive of her husband’s endeavours” in response to claims she never wanted him to run for president.
She also said Mr Trump was “very warm and supportive throughout (Mrs Trump’s) pregnancy” in response to the article’s claim that Mrs Trump was required to get her pre-baby body back.
