Man sets world record for speed typing with his nose
LOOK, no hands! This speed typist smashed a world record for writing using only his facial feature. This is a feat not to be sniffed at.
A MAN has set the world record for typing a sentence in the fastest time using only his nose.
Khursheed Hussain has an eye for records and a nose for breaking them after using his hooter to write a 103-character sentence in just 47 seconds.
The 23-year-old man from India has previously been in the Guinness Book of World Records for typing the entire English alphabet (using fingers this time) in 3.43 seconds but decided to show off his flair by tying with his hands behind his back and pecking out a sentence with his beak.
Guinness asked him to write: “Guinness World Records has challenged me to type this sentence using my nose in the fastest time”.
He practised typing this way for six hours every day, which is why he managed to beat the previous record set by a Saudi Arabian, who did the same feat in one minute and 33 seconds. Yes, we were surprised to hear someone else had done this too.
The secret to his success isn’t having a snout like Pinocchi; rather, he explains: “If you want to set a record, every millisecond counts”.
“I typed with one eye closed, as it is difficult otherwise to locate the keys.”
Luckily there wasn’t any punctuation needed.
