Anonymous declares ‘total war’ on Donald Trump in new propaganda video
HACKING collective Anonymous has vowed to dismantle Donald Trump’s campaign and sabotage his brand in a freshly-released propaganda video.
IN a move that doesn’t really come as a shock to anyone, hacking collective Anonymous has declared “total war” on Donald Trump.
Using its trademark propaganda video, Anonymous addressed the citizens of the world announcing the re-engagement of “OpTrump” on a much larger scale.
“Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we’ve seen is deeply disturbing,” the video starts.
“Your inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America, you have shocked the entire planet with you appalling actions and ideas. You don’t stand for anything but your personal greed and power.
“This is a call to arms. This is a call to the freedom fighters, to the forgotten, to the censored, to our fellow hacktivists throughout the world. This is a call to protect our future, our freedom and our very way of life. This is a call to you.
“We need you to shut down his websites, research and expose what he doesn’t want the public to know. We need you to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand.”
The hacking collective then calls for members of the public to get involved by sharing #OpTrump related propaganda.
At the end of the video, the hackers announce plans to remove one of Trump’s property websites for Chicago on April 1.
To further the message, the video is cut with a montage of Donald Trump’s most controversial moments from the campaign trail and beyond.
Highlights include:
“When do we beat Mexico at the border? They are not our friends. They are rapists.
“She does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
The movement stems from an operation at the end of last year aimed at removing Trump’s online footprint.
Anonymous pushed the operation again after Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslim people from travelling to the US.
During this time the hacking collective was able to take down a website of New York’s Trump Tower using a distributed denial of service attack (DDoS) — attacks that make a computer system unavailable by flooding it with more requests for information that it can handle.
As expected the re-engagement of the campaign has been met with praise online.

#OpTrump will have to do better than sharing the things Trump says in private if the things he says in public aren't dissuading his voters.
