Commonwealth Bank’s NetBank users report serious problems with service
Customers of a major Australian bank are unable to login to their accounts online and venting their frustrations.
Commonwealth Bank customers are unable to do online banking, with the NetBank service not allowing them to log in.
The bank confirmed its services were down on Thursday afternoon but were returning to normal.
“We are aware some of you are experiencing difficulties accessing our services and we’re currently investigating,” a Commonwealth Bank spokesperson said on Twitter.

Customers indicated the outage began just after 4pm and reported long wait times on the phone.
They took to Twitter to air their frustrations about the outage, anxious they would be unable to pay for items ahead of Easter.
“Happens too often over it,” one user wrote.

Others took a more lighthearted approach to the issue, after mortgage accounts seemingly disappeared from users’ accounts.
