BBC's subtitles stuff up, welcoming viewers to 'year of the whore'

THE BBC has had a subtitle blunder, welcoming its viewers to "the [Chinese] year of the whore" instead of the year of the horse. Easy mistake, right?

"WELCOME to the year of the whore..." Ergh, we mean horse.

The BBC had a bit of a blunder overnight when instead of welcoming viewers to the year of the horse, the subtitles instead welcomed everyone to "the year of the whore" instead.

One watchful eye managed to grab a shot of the error and chucked it up on Twitter.

This isn't the first time the BBC has had a subtitle stuff up either. In 2011, some pigs loved to "nibble anything that comes into the sheds, like our willies".

Those pigs seem to have an interesting diet.

Hmm, it seems that the BBC has something on its mind. We think they meant wellies.
