A three-year-old girl has been rushed to hospital after a road train and two cars collided on a major highway.
A young girl has been seriously injured after a road truck and two vehicles collided on a major highway in Western Australia.
Emergency services were called to Tonkin Hwy near Perth Airport after a Volvo truck and two cars collided near the intersection of Dunreath Rd.
The three-year-old girl, who was travelling in a Mazda 3, was rushed to Perth Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
A second child was also taken to Perth Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and two other woman aged in their 30s were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police, St John WA paramedics and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended the scene of the serious collision.
Major crash officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
