A young woman has lost her licence and will appear in court after allegedly drunkenly crashing her car at a golf course.

A woman has lost her licence and will front court after allegedly crashing her car at the North Adelaide Golf Club while drink-driving early on Monday.

The 23-year-old driver reportedly took a wrong turn into a driveway at the golf course on Strangways Terrace and subsequently crashed into a bollard about 4.30am.

The Parafield Gardens woman was allegedly intoxicated but failed to comply with a breath analysis test.

She was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital instead to have a blood sample taken.

The driver was reported for failing to comply with breath analysis, drink-driving, driving without due care and breaching the conditions of her probationary licence.

The woman lost her licence for 12 months and her car was impounded for 28 days.

She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Neither the woman or her male passenger were injured as a result of the incident.
