Dashcam captures shocking moment cars collide at intersection

The footage shows the van rolling onto its side and skidding across the road from the force of the crash.

Dashcam video has caught the moment a van collided with another car near a Melbourne freeway on-ramp.

The video posted on Dashcam Owners Australia shows the driver pull up at the intersection of Robinson Road near the Western Freeway on-ramp in Derrimut just before 1pm on Monday.

It shows the camera owner drive forwards into a green light just as a white van attempts to turn across the oncoming traffic.

The vehicles collide in a dramatic smash which then sends the van rolling onto its side and skidding backwards.

Victoria Police have confirmed no one was injured in the crash.

Police are investigating the incident.
