Four people, including a nine-year-old boy, have been killed in a horror single-car crash on a major highway in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region overnight.
Emergency services were called to the Great Eastern Highway at Clackline, about 80km northeast of Perth, shortly after midnight on Thursday.
In a statement, police said the silver Nissan Navara was travelling east when it left the road and struck a tree.
All four male occupants, aged nine, 19, 21, and 45, suffered critical injuries and tragically died at the scene.
Police have since called on anyone with information about the crash or who may have seen the vehicle in the area to contact Crimestoppers.
