Boy, 4, dies after being hit by car in North St Marys, in Sydney’s west
A boy has died after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west, police have confirmed.
A young boy has died after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to Glossop Street in North St Marys about 12.05pm on Monday after reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
In a statement, police said the boy, 4, was hit by a Ford Sedan.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics however he died on the way to hospital.
The male driver was taken to Nepean Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police have established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
Anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, has been urged to come forward.
