Brands are struggling to clear stock, which means there’s never been a better time for go looking for a sharp deal. These are some of the best.

HOLDEN

With a sharp deal on the Colorado LTZ 4WD ute — from $49,990 drive-away — Holden wants ute customers to think twice about a Ford Ranger or Toyota HiLux.

Colorado LTZ: Two years’ free servicing

Better still, the deal includes three years’ free servicing, worth $1217. If you’re prepared to take home a demonstrator, 2019 model year Colorado LS auto utes can be had for $38,990 drive-away, a saving of more than $10,000 on a new model.

KIA

Until the end of this month, the Cerato Sport hatch and sedan can be had for $22,490 drive-away, a saving of more than $4000. Automatic transmission adds $2000 and it’s another $1500 for a safety pack that includes blind spot alert and rear cross traffic alert.

The Active grade of the brand’s Toyota RAV4 rival is on sale from $39,990 drive-away, a saving of $1600 on its regular price. Its eye-catching cabin feels a cut above most rivals and a $2000 factory bonus sweetens the deal.

RENAULT

A revised Koleos is around the corner, so Renault has sharpened its pencil on existing stock.

Koleos: Seven-year warranty

Save thousands on the family SUV, priced from $32,990 drive-away, with seven-year, unlimited kilometre warranty and three years’ free servicing. Buyers who finance through Renault can also get a reasonably competitive 2.9 per cent comparison rate.

VOLKSWAGEN

With the Passat’s replacement due in December, VW has run-out bonuses of $3500 to $4000. Drive-away pricing is not part of the deal.
