Navman’s 3-camera system dash cams revealed
Cutting-edge safety technology once reserved for high-end vehicles is now available to everyday drivers thanks to a bold new release.
New dash cam tech promises to bring tech from the latest luxury cars to owners of older, simpler vehicles.
Navman has introduced its 2025 range which is poised to set a new standard for in-car surveillance, taking inspiration from features such as Tesla’s “sentry” system.
At the top of the range is the MiVue True 4K PRO Surround, Navman’s first-ever three-camera dash cam, offering full visibility with front, rear, and side video coverage.

The PRO Surround uses two physical units: a front camera that captures the road ahead in true 4K Ultra HD with an 8-megapixel sensor and a rear module housing dual lenses – one facing backwards and the other pointing inward to capture both the interior and side windows of the vehicle with a wide 170-degree field of view.

Drivers also get real-time safety alerts, including speed and school zone warnings.
What’s most impressive is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that can detect lane departure as well as provide front and rear collision alerts.
The MiVue True 4K PRO Surround retails for $529 and includes a 128GB microSD card.
If the MiVue True 4K PRO Surround feels a bit overkill, Navman has also introduced two mid-range 4K options — the MiVue True 4K ($279) and MiVue True 4K DC ($349). Both deliver ultra-clear 4K footage at 30fps and are powered by the same STARVIS 8MP sensor found in the PRO Surround.
They come bundled with a 64GB microSD card and still feature GPS tagging, a 3-axis G-sensor, and night-vision performance to help drivers capture critical detail, even in lowlight conditions.
For those looking for solid safety tech without the premium price tag, there’s the MiVue 270 Safety dash cam ($179). It offers 2.5K Quad HD recording through a 4MP sensor and includes ADAS features like forward collision alerts, lane departure warnings, and driver fatigue monitoring.
Across the 2025 dash cam range, Navman’s latest models come equipped with intelligent safety alerts, school zone warnings, lane departure alerts, and collision warnings – giving Aussie drivers the hi-tech found in most modern cars for a lower price.
Meanwhile, for motorcyclists and scooter riders, Navman has released the new MiVue Rider DC Helmet Camera ($349). The helmet-mounted device includes front and rear recording, an on-board 4.5-hour battery, and IP67 weatherproofing for all-weather rides.
It captures footage in 2.5K Quad HD at 30fps, or can be adjusted to 1080p at 60fps for high-speed riding.
All Navman dashcams in the 2025 range come with a two-year warranty and local customer support and are available now from major retailers.
