KFC introduces Tray Typer keyboard for greasy fingers

ARE we really that obsessed with our technology that we need to be able to use our phones while eating greasy food? KFC thinks so.

YOU know the problem. You’ve just ordered a Zinger box and the burger and chicken wings are too well made that you have to artistically take a bite out of them and upload a photo to Instagram.

Just one problem. Your damn fingers are now too greasy for your phone!

Thankfully, KFC has been thinking about you and wants to fix everything. Introducing, the KFC Tray Typer. For those whose life is just one big first world problem.

It’s a rechargeable, super thin bluetooth keyboard that comes on your tray when you order your meal. Best of all, it lets you type with your greasy, sticky fingers without messing up your phone screen. The high-tech tray liner will replace standard grease-absorbing paper usually found on the trays.

Flexible, just like paper.

For those worried about everyone else’s sticky, gross fingers on the keyboard, the tray is durable enough to be wiped down and re-used. However, the creator of the keyboard has claimed that they haven’t needed to do that yet as they’ve been so popular that in the opening week, “every single one... was taken home”.

Unfortunately for everyone hoping to see the Tray Typer locally, at this stage it is just an advertising campaign for the fried chicken company in Germany.
