JEREMY Meeks, the man in the mugshot dubbed the best-looking ever, has sparked a disturbing new trend on Twitter.

JEREMY Meeks, aka the hot mugshot guy, has sparked a disturbing new trending topic on Twitter: #FelonCrushFridays.

For those that missed all the hype, Meeks is a convicted felon with a mugshot that makes ladies swoon.

His picture — dubbed ‘the best-looking mugshot ever’ — went viral after it was posted on a police Facebook page in the US last week.

It even prompted Twitter users to memorialise Meeks’ mugshot in memes.

But it didn’t stop there. A group of tweeps thought it would be fun to give Meeks some competition so they started the hashtag #FelonCrushFridays.

The end result: social media has been bombarded with a whole bunch of mugshots people find attractive.

Meanwhile, modelling agencies say they’d like to work with the blue-eyed jailbird once he is out. Blaze Models told TMZ he stands to make up to $US30,000 a month modelling for high-end fashion houses like Versace and Armani.
