Elon Musk announces two impending product unveilings via Twitter

WHEN Elon Musk talks, the world tends to listen.

The billionaire entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and Space X made a surprise announcement on Twitter Monday morning which has left fans in a frenzy of anticipation.

Last month the co-founder of PayPal outlined his long-awaited vision for humanity’s colonisation of Mars. However his tweet this morning related to more terrestrial technologies as Musk announced two impending product launches for Tesla and SolarCity.

A product unveiling for Tesla will take place early next week AEST followed by a second product announcement for both Tesla and SolarCity at the end of the month.

The announcement of the first new product unveiling comes as a surprise to most, and it is not publicly known what it will entail.

It is possible that it could be a follow-up event for the Tesla Model 3 that Musk had promised earlier in the year. If not, it could be something else entirely.

Musk had previously mentioned the event slated for October 28 on social media and it’s believed he will show off a residential solar roof with integrated batteries as part of Tesla’s acquisition of SolarCity.
